Beatnik Baby

According to wikipedia beatnik article, "Kerouac introduced the phrase "Beat Generation" in 1948, generalizing from his social circle to characterize the underground, anti-conformist youth gathering in New York at that time."  The term beatnik wasn't coined until 10 years later.

This morning I found myself in the presence of a hipster, a beatnik, a forward thinker.  Now, Norah wasn't alive in 1948, she doesn't live "underground" (even though she likes to go underneath her crib from time to time, but she always resurfaces) and currently she's not an anti-conformist that gathers in New York.  She has a lot to work on, but she definitely has the "look".
